This site is dull. It is. You can say it. I won’t get offended. Really! So far its just been a front to see what writing style best suits and what I feel I can (or rather can’t) write about. I did try anonymity for a while, but it didn’t suit me. I just prefer to be honest with myself.
Anywho, I’m copying someone elses idea so instead having a photo of the day, I’m gonna do song of the day (Maybe album of the week? Dunno). Obviously I can’t upload the songs for you to download, but you can always ask me… So here goes:
20/08/06: Stevie Wonder - Happy Birthday to you.
The one, the only, happy birthday song. Has there been a better one? Not that I know of.
21/08/06: Pharrell - Raspy Sh*t.
The gem of his album. Which was a let down to be honest. Good hook, nice flowing lyrics - a chilled feel good tune.
22/08/06: Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces.
I’m usually against any artist that can keep a #1 spot for as long as GB did with Crazay, but Smiley Faces made for a great driving tune after doing 10+ hours of driving this week! (video)
23/08/06: Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland - Promiscuous Girl.
I’m a fan of Timbalands production so had to give this one a mention (video).
24/08/06: Christina Aguilera - Ain’t No Other Man.
If it weren’t for the trumpets, this song wouldn’t even get a mention. And not because of the name of this site… (video)
25/08/06: Plan B - Charmaine.
A relaxed tune with tongue placed FIRMLY in cheak. Last line is frankly a classic (video - bad quality, but watch this instead).
26/08/06: Fatman Scoop - Be Faithfull.
BASE DROP! If this doesn’t get you on the dance floor, there is no hope for you!
27/08/06: Wiseguys - Start the commotion.
Apt for trying to reinvent something at half past midnight. Video worth a look (video).
