What to do, what to do???

In the last kick of the ball on Wednesday night, I’ve busted my left leg. I was fortunate enough to be playing against a personal trainer who thought I’d torn a muscle in my calf. “Fantastic” I thought. 10k run on Sunday to do for Cancer Research. For the past 3 days I’ve been resting my leg and putting ice on it.

I’m sat here on the couch debating whether to compete or not. Don’t think I’ll be doing a 55:29 like I did last weekend. Not sure what to do. Not sure at all.

You poor thing - Don’t think it would be a good idea to run on Sunday that could make things alot worse - But heh what do I know - surely your trainer would know whether you should run or not - It will be disappionting but there is always next year You take care :-(

Really sorry to read you’ve torn a muscle in my calf, the chances of healing by Sunday seem remote. But you don’t have to ‘compete’ you can always take part - walk, stroll ?
BUT only if you feel up to it - all’s not lost yet - see how you feel Sunday.

Are you two the only read and comment here? :)

I think I’ll be jogging it…. maybe a bit of running. Not felt pain in a day and a half and its three since I did it. Either way I’ll still beat my housemate so I have a small moral victory :D
