Out of breath and out of words.

I find myself 2 runs behind my target if nike plus is to be believed. And it should be believed as I set the target. Although my last run wasn’t too bad. Especially as Paula Radcliffe came into my ear telling me that was my furthest run so far. Shame it was only 3km… and that was with warm up and warm down… hmm… And I’ve got the Run London 10k coming up. And I’ve not even run half that since school.

Oh dear oh dear…

Childish.

Childish: adjective

1 childish, infantile
indicating a lack of maturity; “childish tantrums”; “infantile behavior”
2 convincing someone you have video called their mobile so that they think you can see them.
3 putting a smelly towel behind someones bed and then asking them if they had a good nights sleep.

Mr Vodafone is bringing me a new phone tomorrow as my current nokia 8800 is broken. Phones + Aftershave do not mix. And before you ask, the bottle broke in the same bag that the phone was in. No, I do not put aftershave on my phone. Well… not yet.

We was robbed.

Not one award for any of our photos. We was robbed. Robbed I tells ya.

Speaking of robbing, why bring a helicopter and a fixed gattling gun to rob a bank? Surely if you’re going to rob a bank you want to be in and out quickly. Maybe the writers of Superman are so squeaky clean and wouldn’t have the first idea how to rob a bank.

Don’t walk into that film expecting it to be fantastic because it isn’t. It is exactly how it should be. Not a classic, but entertaining nonetheless.

In other news, I’ve taken up running. The occasional gym session with the football almost every Wednesday isn’t having the effect I want which is to get rid of my mini-tyre and to get my stamina back. So in order to do this what do I get considering I’m a pro-geek?

The Nike+ iPod transmitter and running shoes of course.

It works really well and its nice to know what pace you’re doing. I’ve almost kicked the habit of running at the pace of the song I’m listening too and can concentrate on my stride. I’d recommend it to anyone who already has an iPod nano, but don’t go all out because you can take a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.

Tonight.

Tonight I was going to leave at 5:30.
Tonight I was going to do some more work.
Tonight I was going to update this site with a decent post.
Tonight I was going to do some mixing.
Ho hum!

Here are photos of the ShootExperience competition we entered for Shunts birthday.

Final day.

The internet is amazing. Get to my computer after watching the match and find this:

Zidane says hello to Matterazi
And for the Mortal Combat fans…
Zidanity

Well done Zidane for souring your last game for your country, in the world cup final AND in front of millions. It is a shame such a great footballer decided to let his temper get the better of him.

Thanks to a mysterious member of the Gucci Group IT Team who decided to tell me at 6:30 that the main mail server wasn’t responding. Missed the first half and most of the second thanks to him. I shall get him back though… just you wait and see!

Congratulations to Feder. That man is unstoppable… And at 24 with 4 Wimbledon Men’s Singles Championships on his blazer pocket and 48 games undefeated on grass I guess we will be hearing about him for a long long time.

A song.

A song. One song. That’s all it took. And I was back to that memory. I didn’t even mean to play it, but as soon as I heard the first bar my head I was there. Back to the place, back to the sights, the smells and the emotion. It was a nice place to be. A happy place if you will. A care free environment. By the time I’d stopped reminiscing I realised I’d played the song about 4 times. This wouldn’t normally be a problem, but it was the song. Vengaboys - Up and Down.

Not good. Not good at all.

Between you and me.

Quite an interesting take on stop motion photography. 2000+ shots on a Canon 20d.

Contains some nudity.

Running a Mile.

On the 15th of July, I will be running a mile. It’s a milestone (geddit? mile? milestone? HAHAHAHAH!) in my life as it’ll be the first time I’ve actually got off my fat ass and done something for charity rather than giving money.

So here goes.

By the very fact you are looking and reading this page means that you probably know who I am and so from now I will be looking at the IP addresses of people visiting this site*. This will allow me to track down who has, and who hasn’t pledged**. I will then hunt you down and demand cash***.

So please, for Sports Relief, click here and give what you can.

In other news, some third rate team lost to Portugal. Couldn’t quite tell who they were. Not bitter… so not bitter.

* no I won’t. ** this is a lie. *** this is a lie also.
